What We Do

Nutrition

Our Nutrition services provide an opportunity for a delicious, dietician approved meal five days per week in either a congregate setting, located at our Senior Center, or through our Home Delivered Meal Program.

Meals are served to persons 60 years of age or older and their spouse, regardless of age. People under 60 may participate for the full price of a meal unless they qualify for ‘special eligibility’.

Congregate meals are served at our Senior Center every day, Monday through Friday, at 12:00 noon. This is a unique opportunity for our community members to connect with friends as they enjoy a hot, nutritious meal. We also encourage our participants to come early and/or stay after so they can be involved in the numerous activities occurring each day at the Senior Center.

Our Home Delivered Meals Program enables home-bound adults who are experiencing challenges with meal preparation the opportunity to have a meaningful connection to the community through a hot meal and a friendly visit from one of our many volunteers each day. Not only do the volunteers deliver a meal each weekday right to the door of the recipient, but they bring a warm smile, a hug, and a quick well-check just to make sure the recipient has everything they need. We also partner with the Sharing Center to provide weekend back packs for our Home Delivered Meal clients to ensure they have meals on the days we are closed.
